We are a Klance fanzine celebrating two reliable truths: Keith and Lance always come back together, and we always come back to them.Our goal is to bring together people who have a passion for this show and ship, whether now or five years ago, and make something we can all be proud of.

FAQ

Will this be a physical or digital product?

We are aiming to deliver a physical zine and merch, in addition to a pdf version of the zine (with the potential for digital merch).

What’s the theme of this zine?

Our theme is canonverse Klance and the enduring phenomenon of Voltron! We want to celebrate the continued love and support from artists that this show and ship receive, in a collaborative project that reminds us why we keep coming back to them, and they to each other.

What are you looking for in an initial pitch?

We’re only looking for a rough outline of an idea, or multiple ideas— something you could feasibly work a thumbnail/outline from down the line. You don’t need to be completely sold on one pitch to submit, just do your best to write a short sentence describing your thoughts.

Applications

Applicants will be expected to submit their initial pitch idea in their application. For every type of application, if your links don't work we will disqualify your application without notice, so be sure to check that sharing is enabled!Page/Spot Artists: 5-10 pieces you think best showcase your work, at least one piece must feature Keith and Lance. We’re looking for your ability to finish and fully render a piece, so the more completed the better!Merch Artists: 3-10 pieces you think best showcase your work, these should reflect the type of merch you’re looking to make (i.e. fully rendered pieces for prints, single designs on a plain background for charms). Mock-ups are welcomed.Writers: 3-5 pieces, one at least longer than 1.5k, none longer than 3k (excerpts welcomed). At least one piece must feature Keith and Lance.

Final Submissions

Page Artists: One 6.26" x 9.26" fully colored page with background.
